ISTGO - Information Studies Graduate Organization
Mission
We are a group of IST Master and Ph.D. students, who have come together in support of the academic, professional, and social experience at the School of Information Studies. We achieve this through peer advising, mentoring, career development/planning activities, and social events.
From the ISTGO Constitution:

The purpose of ISTGO is to provide an organized forum through which graduate students of the School of Information Studies (IST) at Syracuse University might promote functions and address issues of concern outside the classroom. Specifically, ISTGO strives to foster active participation of its members in official IST functions, including faculty meetings, social events, discussion groups, workshops, and the sponsorship of guest lecturers. Further, ISTGO serves as the official representative of its members and their interests before the administration of IST and the administration of Syracuse University.
